Top TV chef James Martin returned to the Flower Show this year and cooked a feast of local fresh ingredients in the Marches Food Hall. The Heart of England Cookery Theatre was packed to capacity with standing room only. The ever popular James charmed, enthralled and entertained all present with his boundless cookery skills and in doing so extolled the virtues of using local produce, including rapeseed oil.
He used Great Ness Rapeseed Oil in most of his recipes which resulted in many coming to our stand to taste and learn about the health benefits and versatility of cooking with rapeseed oil. We were able to show case our three new products. These being Rapeseed Oil infused with Cardamom, Orange and Lime. These were all enthusiastically received and we were more than grateful to James for supporting local producers.
