Coed-y-dinas (Charlies) Welshpool, Powys
Shop for All Seasons
Coed-y-dinas is set in the Severn Valley just south of Welshpool and was the Home Farm for the Powys Estates during the 19 century. Charlies Stores Ltd purchased the farm and surrounding land in 2002. The Victorian farm buildings have been restored to retain the historic character of the site.
The Country Store was opened to the public in 2005, the garden centre in 2006 by garden television personality Charlie Dimmock. Coed-y-dinas has an exquisite range of everything you could possibly need for garden, home and countryside living.
They are passionate about supporting local producers and helping to supply the local community with quality local food. You can find Welshpool Farmers Market at Coed-y-dinas on the first Friday of every month. This is an emporium for food lovers where you will find the full range of Great Ness Rapeseed Oils as well as premium meats, cheeses, breads, cakes, chocolates and biscuits.
Famous for their knowledgeable, welcoming and friendly staff and with so much to see in the Country Store, Garden Centre and the Food Hall this is a fabulous retail experience not to be missed.
