The Finest Bridgnorth Butcher
Keith has been a butcher for over 40 years and founded his own business in 1981. He stocks only the finest quality meats from the best Bridgnorth farmers and supplies private customers, restaurants, pubs, schools, nursing homes and outside catering events.
Renowned for selling top quality Hereford Cross and Aberdeen Angus beef produced on his own Bridgnorth farm, Keith believes in preparing meat for sale in a traditional manner, his beef is hung for four weeks before sale to ensure it is properly aged and has maximum taste and succulence.
As well as supporting the local beef, lamb and pork producers he stocks a wide selection of Great Ness Rapeseed Oils which complements so many dishes.
Bridgnorth is situated in the Severn Valley, it is split into High & Low Town, named on account of their elevation to the River Severn. The Low Town was once a thriving port along the banks of the River Severn while the High Town held the castle, the churches and many fine 16th & 17th century mansions. Bridgnorth is home to a funicular railway that links the high and low towns, the Castle Hill Railway, which is the steepest and the only inland railway of its type in the country.
So do visit Bridgnorth, there is so much to see and experience and you will be guaranteed a warm welcome at Keith Alderson’s Butchers Shop too.
