Shrewsbury Food Festival 27 & 28 June 2015
This fabulous food festival was another resounding success for all involved.
Between 20,000 and 25,000 people attended in the Quarry Park. The sun shone, the atmosphere was happy and relaxed, so much to see, taste and experience. An excellent day out for all the family, including food, cookery demonstrations, craft, live music a children’s play area and restaurant safari.
Top chefs demonstrated their culinary skills in the various cookery theatres
Chris Burt from The Peach Tree and Momo No Ki, Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury always a supporter of local producers used Great Ness Rapeseed Oil in his demonstrations. This award winning Executive Head Chef grew up in the kitchens of his mother huge restaurant in West Africa and then went onto train at Le Manoir Aux Quat’Saisons and The Savoy.
We at Great Ness Oil are incredibly grateful to Chris and his team for their kindness and support.
The food festival team and all their volunteers must be congratulated on such a well organised and immensely successful event.
