Triumph in Telegraph Taste Test
Announced in The Sunday Telegraph Stella Magazine on 27 March 2011 Great Ness Oil, winners in the rapeseed oil taste test. The judge, Tristan Welch, Head Chef of Launceston Place Restaurant, London has been cooking with rapeseed oil for the past three years and has used no other oil in his kitchen since.
He describes Great Ness Rapeseed Oil as “Its colour promises good things; it is what I would expect from an extra virgin oil, made from the first pressing of the seeds. Its earthy flavour has a hint or raw nuts and would be good in a mustardy dressing. The diversity and complexity of rapeseed oil is astounding, I love its unique flavour”
